Arthur Christmas is a British/American animated comedy movie based on the spirit of Christmas. In it Malcolm Claus (Jim Broadbent) has to retire as Santa and join his father the Grand-Santa(Billy Nighy) but who's going to take over? His most likely and successful son Steve (Hugh Laurie)? Or the more childish and less unlikely Arthur (James McAvoy)? Steve is cool and incredibly capable but Arthur has the good-natured habit and Christmas spirit on his side.The test comes when Steve's system to deliver gifts fails and one gift is left out. Arthur wants to take it to it's place but Steve doesn't care. However Grand-Santa wants to put himself back on the map so he offers to help Arthur. They have a little time till Gwen(Ramona Marquez) wakes up. Will they be there in time? 2 Billion presents delivered in 1 night. It takes a family.
