The Wizard of Oz is an American fantasy musical movie made in 1939 just 39 years after the original novel was written. In it Dorothy Gale (Judy Garland) who lives with Aunt Em (Clara Blandick) and Uncle Henry (Charley Grapewin) and her dog Toto in the city of Kansas in a decent farm. But then a twister hits and she and the house get stuck in it and travel to a secret place known as Oz. On her arrival she kills the Wicked Witch of the East by simply landing the house on her but then the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) comes in to claim the shoes. Yet she doesn't have enough power to stop Dorothy. Dorothy goes to the Wizard of Oz (Frank Morgan) to get a way to Kansas. On her way she meets and joins with a Scarecrow(Ray Bolger) who needs a brain, Tin Man (Jack Haley) who needs a heart and finally a lion (Bert Lahr) who needs courage. How will Dorothy and the crew fair in this long journey following the yellow brick road?
